Congratulations to our newest Eagle!!

Ryan and I would like to congratulate our newest Eagle scout on our staff.  Tim Bernard from troop 110 received this honor this past weekend.  Tim truly exemplifies what it means to be an Eagle--he's a great leader, he's always willing to help, and he's a great role model for all our campers.  We're proud to have Tim on our staff!  Congratulations Tim!!!

Registration Reminders

A reminder that the early bird price for WRC week 1 is only good until Tuesday, April 22.  That being said, the council office will be closed for Easter and Patriot's Day April 18-April 21.  Make sure you plan accordingly.  If you mail your registration forms in, they must be postmarked by April 22 in order to receive the early bird price.
If any of your scouts have received campership letters and/or popcorn vouchers, these must be included with the pack registration form and rosters.  If they are not submitted, the amount will not be credited and the pack will be responsible for paying the full camp fee.
If you have any registration or camp questions, please feel free to email the camp director, Ryan LaRoche, at

Ready, Set, REGISTER!!

Today is April 1st and registration for summer camp is now open!!  Please remember the following:

--Our early bird pricing is good until Tuesday, April 22.  After that, prices jump $75

--All registration forms are pack registration forms.  We shouldn't be getting registration forms with single boys on it unless they are the only scout attending that week.  Talk to the other boys in your den and pack and compile one registration form.

--Rosters must also be submitted with the registration forms.  Please make sure any adults attending are listed on the roster.

--DO NOT send med forms in with registration paperwork.  Those will be collected later in June.

--To make registration easier and quicker at the council office, have parents pay for camp with cash or checks made out to your unit.  Deposit all camp fees into your unit account and write out one check for all the camp fees.  (weeks can be combined here) It is very time consuming at the office to process 10 separate checks for camp.  Save yourself time!!

--If boys have received a campership letter from the Council or they have earned camp vouchers for selling popcorn, these MUST be submitted with the pack registration form.

--As always, if you have questions, don't hesitate to contact our camp director Ryan at

We're still conducting camp presentations.  We'd like to thank Pack 108 from Millbury, Pack 134 from Douglas and Pack 141 from Rutland for inviting us to your meetings this past weekend.  Enjoy these photos from their events.

Camp Presentation Fun!

While we've been busy planning all the fun camp will bring, we've still made time to visit packs to give camp presentations.  We'd like to thank Pack 147 from Oxford and Pack 128 in North Brookfield for inviting us to your events.  While the meeting for Pack 147 was mostly parents, Pack 128 held a Blue and Gold Banquet complete with Arrow of Light Crossover and pies in the leaders' faces!  Thank you to everyone for your wonderful attention and great questions!  Please enjoy these photos from 128...

There's still time to schedule a camp presentation!  If you'd like to check our availability, please email us at

Camperhsip Forms Due!!

This is just a reminder that all campership forms are due to the council office no later than Tuesday, March 4!!  If you feel your family qualifies for financial assistance in the form of a campership, PLEASE fill out one of our campership request forms and turn it in.  We hate seeing boys not attend camp because the registration fee is too much.  The form is simple and quick to fill out.  Make sure your unit leader signs where designated and make sure your son writes a letter as to why he wants to attend camp.  Submit everything to:

More Blue and Golds...More Fun!!

We would like to extend our many thanks to Worcester Pack 54 and Rutland Pack 306 for inviting us to their Blue and Gold Banquets this week!  We were unable to get photos from Pack 54 and apologize to those boys for that, but here are some pics from 306.  Congratulations to all the boys from both units on their many advancements.  (Special Kudos go out to Justin and Porter for their involvement with a special presentation!)
