This is just a reminder that all campership forms are due to the council office no later than Tuesday, March 4!! If you feel your family qualifies for financial assistance in the form of a campership, PLEASE fill out one of our campership request forms and turn it in. We hate seeing boys not attend camp because the registration fee is too much. The form is simple and quick to fill out. Make sure your unit leader signs where designated and make sure your son writes a letter as to why he wants to attend camp. Submit everything to:

We would like to extend our many thanks to Worcester Pack 54 and Rutland Pack 306 for inviting us to their Blue and Gold Banquets this week! We were unable to get photos from Pack 54 and apologize to those boys for that, but here are some pics from 306. Congratulations to all the boys from both units on their many advancements. (Special Kudos go out to Justin and Porter for their involvement with a special presentation!)

WRC summer camp preparations are well under way, but we're still in need of 1 key element--AWESOME STAFF!!! While we do have a lot of returning staff, we are always looking for new members to help make camp even better. If you are interested in being on our volunteer staff, please fill out an application which can be found at this link:
Turn it in as soon as possible as we are trying to have interviews the week of February vacation. Below, please find some of the positions we are currently looking for.
Patrol Leaders--Should be 15 years old, be a boy scout for at least 1 year, and have high enthusiasm and scout spirit! We prefer first class scouts and those who are den chief trained, but those are just added benefits, not mandatory requirements.
Assistant Patrol Leaders--Should be at least 14 years old again with at least 1 year of boy scout experience. He will work with a seasoned patrol leader to lead the boys around camp and show them how much fun boy scout camp can be. We'd like to start seeing some of our past campers coming in to fill these spots.
Program Staff--Should preferably be 18 years old. (lifeguards can be 16) We are looking for handicraft (arts and crafts, maybe some woodworking?); sports, nature, waterfront, shooting sports and scoutcraft. If you specialize in something that fits into Webelos badges (say geology, forestry, etc) we would not be opposed to offering a new program area to our scouts.
If you have any questions, or would like more information, please contact our camp director, Ryan LaRoche, at firstname.lastname@example.org
